Terms.

The short version: it's free, it runs on your computer, and the text can have mistakes.

Using sealpitch

sealpitch is free, for personal recordings and for work. There's no account to make.

The text can be wrong

The text comes from speech recognition software, a kind of AI, running on your computer. With clear audio it's close, but names, rare words and mumbled parts can come out wrong. Check the parts that matter before you rely on them, especially anything medical, legal or official.

Your recordings, your call

Only transcribe recordings you have the right to use. If other people can be heard on them, the law where you live may require their consent.

Please don't

Use sealpitch to break the law, or try to overload or break into the site.

No guarantees

sealpitch comes as it is. We can't promise it will always work, or work for what you need. As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for losses from using it, such as mistakes in a transcript or text lost when a tab closes. This doesn't take away any consumer rights the law gives you.

Changes

sealpitch can change or stop at any time. If these terms change, so does the date at the top.

The software inside

The engines and libraries that make sealpitch work belong to their authors and have their own licenses. They're listed in Credits.

The law

These terms follow Portuguese law. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of your own country's consumer laws.
