Waitlist terms
Last updated: October 3, 2026
The short version. Joining is free and doesn't commit you to anything. You pick the plan you'd most likely use, we email you when SealPitch launches, and you get 20% off for as long as you stay subscribed. You can leave at any time.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you join the SealPitch waitlist at sealpitch.com. By joining, you agree to them. SealPitch is run by the person identified in the Legal notice. How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy notice.
2. Who can join
Anyone aged 18 or over can join. SealPitch is built for freelancers and small businesses, so we expect most people to join for work. One sign-up per person, with an email address you use yourself.
3. How joining works
- You send the form with your email, the plan you'd pick and what you do.
- We email you a confirmation link. Your spot is saved only after you click it.
- You get up to 3 short emails before launch, then the launch email with your founder code.
4. Your plan pick
The plan you pick tells us what to build first and what people value. It's not an order and you don't pay anything. You can pick a different plan at launch, or none at all.
5. The founder code
- 20% off the price of any plan at launch.
- It lasts for as long as your subscription stays active without a break, and it stays if you switch plans.
- Use it within 30 days of our launch email.
- One code per person. It isn't transferable and can't be exchanged for cash.
- It can't be combined with other discounts, unless we say so at the time.
6. Prices, VAT and plans before launch
The prices on our website include VAT. Plans, limits and prices may change before launch. You'll see the final plans and prices, with VAT, before you pay anything, and the 20% applies to those final prices. Any paid subscription will have its own terms, shown before you buy.
7. Emails
Up to 3 short emails before launch, then the launch email. The newsletter comes only if you ticked the second box. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. If you reply, a real person reads it.
8. What we ask of you
- Use a real email address that belongs to you.
- Don't sign up other people, and don't use bots or scripts on the form.
- We may remove sign-ups that break these terms, for example obvious fakes or spam.
9. Leaving the waitlist
You can leave at any time with the unsubscribe link in any email, or by writing to [email protected]. If you leave before launch, your founder code goes with you, so join again if you change your mind.
10. If plans change on our side
We're building SealPitch now, and we can't guarantee it will launch, or when. If we decide not to launch, or to close the waitlist, we'll tell you by email and delete your data as described in the Privacy notice.
11. Intellectual property
The SealPitch name, logo and website content belong to SealPitch. Joining the waitlist doesn't give you any rights to them. Ideas and feedback you send us are welcome, and we may use them to improve the product without owing you anything for them. We won't publish your words with your name unless you agree.
12. Liability
The waitlist is free. We aren't liable for any loss caused by changes to the launch date, the plans or the product, or by the product not launching. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, and we'll change the date at the top when we do. If a change matters to you, we'll email you before it applies. We won't make the founder code worse for people already on the waitlist.
14. Law and disputes
Portuguese law applies. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live. Options for resolving a dispute out of court are listed in the Legal notice.
